Award-winning Licensee Dean McDonald welcomes you to the Crooke Hall Inn. Dean was Manager of The Orwell at Wigan Pier for over 12 years and brings that wealth of experience to the “Crooke.”
The Crooke Hall Inn is a real ale pub with home cooked food and log burning stoves. Set in a picturesque village, adjacent to the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, there is ample parking and large beer garden. The 150+ year old inn has always served locals and workers in the area and whilst only 5 minutes drive from Wigan Town Centre has a country pub atmosphere, welcoming dogs, walkers, boaters and many more. In addition to a daily menu and the real ales available why not try our Garden Bar for your private function.
Meals are made with fresh, locally-sourced ingredients and nine wickets (pumps) serve a changing selection of carefully-chosen cask ales from our own and guest breweries. Alongside our range of real ales, we offer 4 draught lagers, craft keg beers, traditional cider, plus Guinness, a mild and a keg cider. We also have an extensive range of soft drinks, sourcing natural and popular drinks.
The menu is available 7 days a week, Mon – Sun 12 – 8.00p.m. (Monday & Tuesday 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. during Winter months). There is a range of daily specials and roasts on Sundays. A selection of teas, hot chocolate and coffees is also available.
So for a great stop after a canal walk or for a quiet drink, join Dean at the Crooke Hall Inn and you will be made most welcome.
