GWYNT DDRAIG, WELSH CIDER & PERRY COMPANY
AllGates are local distributors of ciders from Gwynt y Ddraig, the multi award winning Welsh Cider & Perry Company.
In the autumn of 2001 they made their first few hundred gallons of cider on the home farm in Llantwit Fardre. Since then they have increased production every year and broadened their selection of draught and bottled ciders.
The majority of their cider apples come from Welsh orchards and extra fruit from Somerset and Hereford. The apples are milled and pressed on the home farm and the apple juice left to ferment and mature in oak casks.
Their Gold Medal Cider is a traditional farmhouse cider which won the CAMRA Gold medal in 2004 – the first Welsh cider producer to achieve a Gold Medal.

BLACK DRAGON 7.2% ABV

Matured in oak barrels to produce a cider rich in colour, body and flavour with a fresh fruity aroma.
DOG DANCER 6.5% ABV

Produced from bittersweet cider apples blended with a true sharp cider apple, it is a light straw coloured cider with a medium dry, smooth, crisp, slightly sharp characteristic.
FARMHOUSE SCRUMPY 5.5% ABV

Golden medium cider with a refreshing apple aroma. Smooth balanced flavour that has a fresh, crisp sharpness.

OLD TIMER 6.0% ABV

As its name suggests this has been produced from a blend of our more mature ciders, usually from the past two years. The result is a cider with a full depth of colour, a matured flavour with a smooth, balanced finish.
FARMHOUSE PYDER 6.0% ABV

An out of the ordinary blend of apple and pear juice fermented and matured in wood.
