THE CROOKE HALL INN – BEER, BOAT & MUSIC FESTIVAL – 21st – 23 SEPTEMBER – ALL WELCOME.
From Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd September the Crooke Hall Inn will be holding a Beer, Boats and Music Festival.
The Beer Festival will showcase 30+ Real Ales from Northern Breweries plus a few favourites, all served directly from the cask, with the festival to be held in a large marquee specially erected on the Crooke Hall Inn car park and where all the bands will also play.
Beers featured include two from Hawkshead Brewery and Dark Star of Brighton, Off Beat, Ossett, Great Heck, Black Jack, Phoenix, Boggart Hole Clough, The Brew Co., Black Hole, Blakemere, Titanic, Acorn, Elland and Liverpool Organic, plus beers from Prospect and Thwaites and several from All Gates.
The Music Festival starts on the Friday evening at 7p.m with the Ormskirk Ukulele Club followed by Wigan Ukulele Club, Band of Crookes and The Hermitage. On Saturday starting at 1.30pm is Adam Cheatham, followed by the Wigan Ukulele Club, and Irish Set, Joyful and the Playboys, The Pyramids, Ken Scally and an Open Mic. Session, Catalonia and then The Pyramids again at 9 p.m. Sunday features, Gerry and The Atrics, Billy and the Tempermentals , Trez Fez, South Seas (featuring our very own Jonny Provost – Head Brewer at All Gates) and finishing the festival at 5p.m Shoot the Cuckoo.
Part of the monies raised is going to the North West Air Ambulance & Wigan and Leigh Hospice.
