Occasional Beers

"Fill with mingled cream and amber, I will drain that glass again. Such hilarious visions clamber. Through the chamber of my brain. Quaintest thoughts — queerest fantasies. Come to life and fade away; What care I how time advances? I am drinking ale today."

Another American; Edgar Allan Poe, born in Boston in 1809, the son of itinerant actors who left him an orphan, did however live with his ward, merchant John Allan and his family in London from 1815 to 1820. Poe knew a thing about ale too, so like him drink an ale today, preferably an AllGates.
